Forex Trading Goes Mobile with Android

MetaQuotes Software Corporation has recently released the handy version of MT4 platform, which is suitable with Android devices. The company’s developers already presented the iOS version of MetaTrader 4 two months ago. Today, Android users can access the platform on their tablet PCs and smartphones. If you are worried about choosing the right brokerage company for this application, it is not a question. This is so, since MT4 for Android supports about 570 brokerage firms. The company envisions that the number will be increased in the coming months.

Through this application, Android users can trade and analyze the market. Users can also watch quotes 24/7 and even assess the history of the deals that have been performed. Such wide array of options comes for free after Android users have successfully downloaded the needed application from the Google Play.

According to Gaies Cheris, MetaQuotes Software Corp. COO, the release of MetaTrader 4 trading platform for both Android and iOS has allowed the company to cover around 70 percent of the total number of smartphone users. He clarified, however, that their efforts to reach more users does not end after this release. They still have to roll out more plans in the future.

MetaQuotes believed that mobile forex trading will even become more popular in the future. Thus, they are paying extra attention to the development for other mobile operation systems. The version for Windows Phone is now underway, and could be released anytime this year. Alongside, the company is also working on the further development of iOS and Android applications to minimize existing bugs and improve user-experience
